Too much time on my hands

I have plenty time, since I’m currently not employed, so I guess I should be able to whip up a theme fast enough, right? Yeah, if I did stick to doing that I might have had it done by now.

Instead I got me something new to toy around with, as a learning experiment. A VPS (virtual private server). Wonder how many times I’ll end up breaking that one before getting the hang of it?

In any case, I’ll be moving my site (Anna’s Playground), together with the blogs (Anna’s Life (this one), Seen, Heard and Read and Wine and Dine) over there once it is setup. Things may break, but a test without a proper site to manage wouldn’t work now would it?

After all this blog and the other sites that reside under the domain annas-playground.info is my playground to learn and test stuff, so it is only reasonable to use them as guinea pigs for this as well. Of course I do not plan on breaking stuff… 🙂

Gonna give the blog a facelift

It is long overdue, this theme has had its prime and does not reflect at all what I want show, or what I can do. I’m going to continue using a purplish color scheme though.

This also means that I will not be giving out an update to this theme (Lavender Dream) to match up with the latest version of WordPress. Sorry to all that are using it, I know it has some problems with newer versions of WordPress, but since I do not really like the theme I will not look into sorting those problems.

I hope you will like the new theme though, which so far is only an empty canvas and some ideas in my head.

Another change is that when the new theme is ready to be released, I will do so on my new site webbyanna.com. This site will remain open, but only as a personal site, and blog. Support will from now on only be done through the new site, or rather the forums on the new site. You can post support requests as a guest (posting is only allowed in the support area as guest), but I would recommend that you do sign up, as that would make it easier for you to keep track of your support request, and give you access to a few more things. Sign up is free of charge, and will always be.
